Farm Adventures in Royal Deeside
Strange thing going on. Bags going out to Mini, lots of them. Mmmm we must be going on an adventure. Soon Mini was running along the big roads. On and on and on she went. Over bridges through glens all the way to the sea. Eventually she stopped at a harbour. The place was called Johnshaven. I met one of my cousins there. He was eight.
We wondered around the town then went down to the harbour. It had walls and walls of lobster pots, I have never seen so many in one place. It was very very windy. I could hardly see because of the wind blowing my hair over my eyes. That’s probably why they made the big walls of lobster pots, to keep the wind out of their eyes.
Back to mini for food. I got some tuna and sweetcorn and some mortadella! After lunch off again this time to a place called Stonehaven. After a quick whirl around the town we headed for the beach. There were lots of dogs at the beach and I saw another of my cousins.
We went back to Mini and she took us into the country. She stopped at a place called Gallaton Farm. I went to explore. It had lots of rooms. Upstairs along corridors and out the back yard. I think I’m going to like it here!
Mum and dad took me for a walk and settled in for the night. I found nice places to go snoozing. Adventures are tiring work.
