Off to Itallia
We got up and were off. First stop get Betsy a drink. With half an hour we were heading to Austria. Austria came and went. Betsy climbed high into the mountains over the passes and then down again into Italy. Betsy stopped off at a place called Trento to get a drink of diesel and let mum and dad get supplies. Well Betsy got her drink OK but after going to two Eurospins that were closed she got lost trying to find a Lidl. Dad had had enough and told her just to leave it. Leaving Trento Betsy started to climb the mountains again. Over the top of the his she used a pass next to Monte Vigolana to come down again to Caldonazzo. Betsy found the camp quick enough and was soon having a rest by the lake. I jumped out and let mum and dad setup camp.
Camp all setup at Camping Penisola Verde time to explore. Camp is so close to the loch it took two shakes of a pups tail to get to the jetty. Poppys loves jetties, I love looking over the edge and into the water. Dad gets very worried he thinks I will fall in. Daft Dad, Poppys have no intention in falling in. It was early evening but it was like a summers day back in Scotland.
The other good thing about camp is that it so close to the beach. Well I had to dip my paws to cool down, loch was warm though, well warmer than Loch Lomond. What’s the name of this loch dad? “It’s called Lago di Caldonazzo Poppy” he said. Hu, Ok then.
We explored a bit further on and found another beach. It’s been a we while since wehave been camped so close to beaches. Bedtime patrol will be good tonight.
On the way back to Betsy we met a Dutch Peoplesee who had stayed here for 8 weeks so far. Mum asked if there was a take away place for food near by. He pointed to Biba’s, a place across the water and said the food there was the best. We took his advice. The place had an outside bit so we chose to sit there. Dad got something odd for dinner. Pizza Integrale. He seemed to like it. Mum just had ordinary Pizza. Me? Well I got cheese hams and denti stick, YUM. Time to go back to Betsy. It was a long day.
