Scone

Another weekend whole days with mum and dad, I like the weekends I’m not left alone, I don’t like being alone. What I really like is weekends in Betsy!

We are going up north this weekend to a place called Scone. Off we went past Stirling and on to Perth. We stopped off in Perth to get mum some dips for her crisps. The traffic in Perth was very busy and chaotic. It took a while but managed to cross the River Tay and roll up to the Scone Camping and Caravan Club site. Dad talked to the warden and he took us to where Betsy was going to rest for the weekend.

Betsy in the forrest

Mum and dad are getting better at getting Betsy ready and took me for a walk just as it was getting dark. We just went for a walk around the camp. There were lots of nice smells and as we wandered through the woods we came to a gate. Through the gate was a very strange place. It was a big green field with a fence round it but the fence only had one bar and it was very high. We could just walk under it. The grass was nice and spongy and had a strange smell, It smelled of horses.
