Going to the Jewish Quarter
Back in Venice to explore other bits of the city. Mum said we would stay away from the really busy parts. Suits me mum.
We wandered further in Mum picking streets that had plenty of shade. I spotted one of the funny taxi boats so I ran across a bridge to get a closer look. Dad was none too happy as he chased after me? Look dad taxi boat.
I found a nice bit of shade as we waited for mum. “Well I suppose we are going this way then Poppy?” she said. Well it’s a nice way mum.
I found lots of streets that were nice and cool and quiet.
Things are done differently in Venice but some things are the same. Peoplesees here get deliveries from Amazon same as back home but here the Amazon man has a boat.
We headed to the Jewish quarter because Mum and Dad wanted to find a place to eat tonight. On the way Dad was hassled by a group of girls and had to buy a lolly pop from them. Mmmmm Dad doesn’t eat lollypops. Odd. I gave him a look, he said it was because one of them was getting married. Oh Ok then. Finding a place for dinner was harder than they thought. In the end I just made the choice for them. Sniff, sniff, this place smells nice I lay down in the door to make my point. “OK Poppy we will book here, it better be good”, said dad.
We made our way back to camp. Mum and dad got clean I lazed under Betsy. After a few daft juices Mum and Dad said it was time to go for dinner. I was wearing my posh harness and leash. We left camp to wait for the bus.
It was a lot quicker getting to the restaurant because I knew where I was going. When we got there, they gave me a nice bowl of water.
Well Poppys know how to pick a place to eat. Mum and Dad seemed to like their dinner. I was happy because I got some fishees.
We left the osteria ai 40 ladron feeling happy but sorry to leave. It was starting to get dark.
Mum and Dad like the Jewish Quarter, I think its nice too, not too busy and it looks nice at night time.
We wandered along the Grand Canal to get back to the bus. Venice is nice at night. Not too busy and nice and cool.
