Postcard from Seville
Hi Poppysocks, we got in very late last night after figuring out how to get into our apartment block but have had a good day exploring today. Its very hot here and the sun is fierce. In the morning we plodded about the city, It’s a strange mix of old and new. For instance this is the mushroom.
This is how the rest of the city looks
We headed deeper into the old town and came across a royal palace called the royal Alcazar.
We wanted to check out the park but had to navigate the busy streets. I don’t think you would like it, to many legs and way to hot.
They do have some nice buildings though. This is the Giralda Tower.
We escaped the madness and made it to the park. We wanted to find the Placa de Espania. When we found it we were suitably impressed.
As we went round there was a big stooshy. Police cars and lots of people shouting. It ends up all the doctors were wanting fair pay, different country same issues eh?
The ferry only took about 10 minutes to speed across the waters to Levanzo. The harbour was not as pretty as some but it was nice enough.
Truth be told there was not much to the town so we set off to find a beach since we had our swimming stuff with us. On route I found another old Vespa. Do you think this one suits me Poppysocks?
Well that was our day walk through the park to the pad and out for dinner
