A day in Cordoba
We were up early to catch a train to Cordoba. The bus just got us to the station in the nick of time as the train was pulling in.
An hour later we were in a different world. To get to the old town we needed to catch a bus. It was morning but still was getting quite hot. First stop was the famous bridge. Not to busy.
We had an hour to kill so we went to explore the gardens, very nice.
Now for the main event Cordoba Cathedral. Its an odd one this one, its two thirds mosque and one third church. It was a surprise when the cathedral bit came into view.
They even have statues of poppys in here wee yin.
After the cathedral we took in the main square before exploring further. We thought about climbing the tower but it was too hot.
By then it was getting very busy. The tour busses must have arrived.
Time to go. The bus to the train station was easy, the train to Seville, easy, the bus to our pad, well. Two hours. It would have been quicker walking!
