Austria via the nasty Vets

Austria via the nasty Vets

As Dad was taking the rubbish out he saw a chewed up crock that looked just like Mums. When he told Mum she was raging, “Bloody Arlo I saw him with something blue in his mouth last night!”

In the vets he tried to get me to eat tablet, he was very confident ha he has never met a Poppy! Spit out went the tablet. He tried again but thought better of it when I aimed a snap at him. Dad tried to feed me it, nope. Eventually the vet came up with idea of giving to me outside, good idea, On the way out Betsy had another surprise for the vets, she clipped the gate post on the way out.

Back on the main road she drove up to the Bremmer pass. The voice in the phone took her on an unusual detour. Who knew there was a retail outlet at Bremmer.

She crossed the pass and made her way down the mountain to Innsbruck. Now well inside Austria she headed over more mountains to Ehrwald. Thankfully the campsite Dr Lauths had a space for us and Betsy rested up for the night.

It was nice and cool up here so we went for a plod around camp. Camp was up high above the village but well walkable.

I hung about reception as mum went to look at menus for dinner tonight.

We decided to have a plod about the village. It was very nice and clean.

The hills were huge much bigger than Scotland and very different shapes than the dolomites.
