Poppy goes to Aberfeldy
Its been dark times since Granpa went over the rainbow bridge, everyone is sad. Mum started taking bags out to Blue. When she took out a bag with my toys and treats I started to get excited, we are going on adventures. We have not been on adventures in ages. All packed up Blue headed for the hills. Soon we were on the wee roads, we saw deersies and a pheasant nearly crashed into Blue’s windscreen. All was going well until Blue went down a road that is closed in winter. Well what a road. In future Blue, don’t go down this road even in summer!
Blue pulled in at a wee place called Acharn. “What we doing here Dad?”, “We are going to find the falls of Achar” he said. Oh OK, look at the funny tree, I have never seen a welly boot tree before.
We found a path and started to climb. Up and up we went till the roar of the river got very loud.
So this is the falls of Acharn then, at least they gave me steps to play on. Poppys likes steps.
Crossing a bridge the path headed down the hill. “Don’t worry Mum I’ll get us back to Blue.
Blue was off again and in a little while she stopped at a place called Aberfeldy. It was a nice wee village but as luck would have it we had landed on Christmas Fete day. There was music and lots of nice spells coming from the food stalls. I got some of Dads cheesy burger. YUM. The sun was going to bed so back in Blue she took us to a nice hotel called Ailean Chraggan Hotel where I could rest my paws.
The room was nice and warm, I soon found a nice spot to spend the night.
Breakfast was yummy. I got sausages, bacons and a bit of eggy. After brecky we packed up Blue and set off on the long road home. I think Mum and Dad needed that break.
