A surprise outing in Betsy, dad booked the campsite on Wednesday and they had space so Friday comes and we are off. First stop Asda for Betsy’s drink of diesel then we are off, Serious Jokin on the radio and sun shining in the sky.
As we crossed the River Forth we left the big roads and entered the Kingdom of Fife. It wasn’t long before we had the sea on our right as we headed north up the east coast. We rolled into the campsite but the people who show us where to stay had gone home. Dad saw a bit of paper taped to the door that said Betsy pitch 16.
Dad was not to impressed as the space was at an angle. I didn’t care because soon Betsy had lights, TV and I got my dinner. It was dark when I went for my walk, I could not see the sea creatures that we making the noises but I could smell them. Grrrrrrr don’t worry dad I’ll protect you.
