West End Girl
This is Mums birthday weekend. We started by going to a talk at the church down the hill. I found it very boring but mum and dad seemed to like it. It was about the old restaurants in Glasgow and a guy called Marco Giannasi was telling the stories.
On Saturday dad was taking mum out for a birthday lunch in the west end. We had some time to kill so we took a detour to the university. According to Dad peregrine falcons live here. I wonder if they are good to chase. I wouldn’t know because they must have heard I was coming and did a hasty B1.
The university is an old building, it’s a cross between a church and a castle. Still it had lost of good smells.
I really liked the cloisters every pillar has a different smell.
Back outside mum had to chase me out of a nice warm room I found. She was not impressed. The peoplesees inside were surprised when they saw me at the door. Still, no harm done. I liked the big grass square it was great for running around on.
We left the university heading towards the river. We will have to come back here again.
After we headed back to Byres Road and visited Oliver Bonas. Mum got a new cardy and I got some free treats, yum. We left there to go for lunch at Chaakoo where a nice peoplesee brought me a bowl of water. I had ham and denti stick, mum and dad had Indian food. Poppys don’t like Indian food but mum and dad were stuffed t the end. They even took some home.
