Hogmanay 2025
Strange one this year, normally it’s just Me Mum and Dad. This year was different, granma was with us this year. We always go away at this time of year to avoid the scary fireworks. Today we are visiting Morpeth. I liked it when Blue eventually found a place to rest. It was a nice we town. The high street was very pretty. After lunch we left Granma at the lodge and headed to a place called New Biggen by the Sea. Ok lets explore.
It was a bit brighter than yesterday but I was still glad I had shumper on.
The beach was quite small but it was OK. It had some statues called the couple that looked out to sea. Don’t know what that’s all about.
Dinner tonight is Chinese. Mum and Dad are picking it up from Morpeth. The shop doesn’t open till six. So we had a few hours to kill. “Let’s check out Blyth” said Mum. Mmmmm OK then. When we got to Blyth it was not what I expected. It looked like a port. Very industrial. As we drove through Blue found a big park with lots of peoplesees on it so she pulled over for a rest. I like parks but my nose was full of salty air. Lets Go! At the front the sea had shrunk the beach to almost nothing. Mr Sun was tucking in his blankets, time to go?
By the time Blue had taken us to Morpeth it was dark. Mum picked up dinner from the Chinese and Blue took us back to the lodge. Dinner was good everybody enjoyed it. After dinner hot tub madness got worse, even Granma jumped in.
