Off to bag an island
It’s been a weird month. First we went on a big drive in blue to Aunty Jeans in Rosindale with Granma and Granpa, but we didn’t go to hers, instead stayed in a strange house. Next morning dad gave me a denti stick, yum, but when I finished it everyone had vanished. I was left in the house alone. I was so happy when they came back my tail nearly fell off with all the wagging. Dad put my harness on, we jumped into Blue and went to a place called the Con Club. There was a lot of people there, I was in a forest of legs. Everyone was very sad. What’s going on? Some strange peoplesees seemed to know me and I seemed to make them happy. We left soon after and went back to the strange house. Next day we came back up the road without going to visit aunty Jean. What was going on there then?
Two weeks later we were going back down the same road, this time in Betsy. Are we going to visit Aunty Jean this time? No. After the lakes we headed for Morecambe so not Rossindale then. As we got into Morecambe Betsy stopped at a big supermarket and Dad got out for “supplies”. That means we are on adventures, wonder where. Betsy got to a nice spot to rest and we settled in for the night.
In the morning, we packed up and Betsy took us down to the shore. Dad worked away in Betsy while me and mum went for a walk. It was great. We went down to the beach and I even got to wet my paws.

After lunch Betsy was off again. Where we off to now mum? “Heysham, to catch the steam packet” said mum. Mmmm what’s a steam packet? Betsy pulled into a big que and the peoplesees told her to wait in a line. Dad took me out for a walk. As I was out I had a good look round the place. To me it looked like a ferry terminal but no ferry or sea. Odd. Maybe it’s a chunnel. I soon found out. Betsy was told to go and after a few minutes we were loaded onto a big ferry.

We were in the ferry for ages. Hours and hours. Finally we were allowed back to Betsy. Soon we were trundling down the country roads, very green. So Mum where are we? “The Isle of Man,” said mum. Yay bagged another island! Betsy got to the campsite in a place called Peel and found a nice spot to rest. Camp set I went out to explore before bed bows.
